Hiroyuki Kansaku Joins Nishimura & Asahi as Advisor

We are pleased to announce that Hiroyuki Kansaku joined Nishimura & Asahi as an Advisor in April.

Hiroyuki is well-versed in commercial and financial law. In the realm of commercial law, he has extensive expertise in corporate and securities law. In the domain of financial law, his proficiency extends to financial transaction, banking, funds settlement, financial instruments and exchange, and corporate trust law. Hiroyuki has made substantial contributions to the advancement of finance law. He has written numerous articles and books, including collaborative works with Nishimura & Asahi lawyers.

He is also an emeritus professor of the University of Tokyo and a professor of Gakushuin University Faculty of Law. Hiroyuki serves on several boards; as the chairman of the Japan Association of the Law Trust, a special member for the Financial System Council, a member of the Social Security Council, a member of the Council on Customs, Tariffs, Foreign Exchange and Other Transactions, and as the vice-chairman of the Self-Regulation Council of the Japan Securities Dealers Association.
