“Individual Number” or “Corporate Number” of Nishimura & Asahi

From January 2016 onwards, due to the introduction of the Social Security and Tax Number System (also known as the “My Number System”) in Japan, when a client in Japan who pays legal fees to Nishimura & Asahi (Gaikokuho Kyodo Jigyo) (Partnership) or LPC NISHIMURA & ASAHI LAW FIRM submits a “Report of Payment of Remuneration, Charges, Contract Money, and Monetary Awards” to the district director of the competent tax office, the client will be required to state in the report the “Individual Number” or “Corporate Number” of the “Person Who Receives the Payment.”
Further, from January 2016 onwards, all legal fees receivable by Nishimura & Asahi (Gaikokuho Kyodo Jigyo) (Partnership) will be received by LPC NISHIMURA & ASAHI LAW FIRM* on its behalf. (For the payee’s bank account details, please refer to your billing statement.)
