Mr. Masashi Kurose has joined the firm as an advisor.

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Masashi Kurose joined Nishimura & Asahi (N&A) as an advisor on February 1, 2015.

Mr. Kurose specializes in domestic and international IP Law systems, IP strategy, and provisions of copying in developing countries, and has focused on handling IP deals in China and other Asian countries. Currently, he is a representative of Kurose IP Management; Visiting Professor of the Department of Masters of Intellectual Property, The Tokyo University of Science Graduate School; Lecturer of International Corporate Strategy, Hitotsubashi University Graduate School; an international counsellor of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association; an auditor-secretary of the Licensing Executives Society Japan, a Working Group member for the International Intellectual Property Protection Forum. He has been awarded the Medal with Yellow Ribbon in 2006, the Special Award from the Intellectual Property Association of Japan in 2009 and The APAA Enduring Award for Engaging, Contributing, and Loyalty in 2014.

We welcome Mr. Kurose's participation in N&A, where he will advise the firm on a broad range of areas, using his considerable experience and expertise to further enrich and develop our practice groups.
