Developments in Investment Arbitration

Nishimura & Asahi hosted a special event, “Pertinent Developments in Investment Arbitration”, organized by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and the Japan Association of Arbitrators (JAA), at our Tokyo office on September 10, 2018. At the event, the head of our international arbitration group, Hiroyuki Tezuka, participated as a moderator. Gary Born, a prominent arbitration specialist and President of the SIAC Court of Arbitration, provided an update on developments in Investment Arbitration. Our international arbitration foreign law partner Lars Markert gave a presentation on "The EU Investment Court System: Challenge or Chance for Asian jurisdictions?"
