September 10, 2010

We are pleased to announce that Nishimura and Asahi (N&A), Japan’s largest law firm, will open its Ho Chi Minh City Office in October 2010 under a license granted by the Ministry of Justice of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Ho Chi Minh City Office will be in full operation in November 2010.

The opening of our Ho Chi Minh City Office is in line with our commitment to further enhance our international practice and expand our networks in Asia; a region which is expected to play a major role in the growth of the global economy. As a part of this process, we also recently opened our Beijing Representative Office, which has been in full operation since June 2010.

In addition, N&A has a practice team of lawyers and staff at its Tokyo Office that deals with international transactions and disputes relating to Southeast Asia and India; the Ho Chi Minh City Office will be supported by all of the resources of N&A’s Tokyo Office and, therefore, in a position to provide fully integrated legal services to our clients.
