    ITOCHU Corporation: Acquisition of shares of FamilyMart UNY Holdings Co., Ltd. through a tender offer

Leading Japanese law firm Nishimura & Asahi has advised ITOCHU Corporation (“ITOCHU”) [TSE: 8001] on its acquisition of common shares of FamilyMart UNY Holdings (“FamilyMart UNY”) [TSE: 8028] by way of tender offer.

As a result of the tender offer, FamilyMart UNY has become a consolidated subsidiary of ITOCHU.
