Law Firm of the Year at ALB Japan Law Awards 2020

Nishimura & Asahi was named Japan Law Firm of the Year for the second year running, at the 16th annual ALB Japan Law Awards, presented by Asian Legal Business/Thomson Reuters and held virtually on September 24, 2020.

Underpinning the main prize, our firm was also awarded M&A Deal of the Year (Premium) and TMT Deal of the Year for our work as lead counsel on the business integration of Z Holdings and LINE, one of the year’s most important and complex deals. In addition, Asa Shinkawa was named Woman Lawyer of the Year (Law Firm) and Yo Ota was awarded Dealmaker of the Year.
