Mark has 18 years experience advising blue-chip clients on cross-border energy and infrastructure transactions and has spent 10 years working in Japan.
He has previously worked in the London and Tokyo offices of an international law firm and in Singapore working for an energy services company. Whilst working in private practice he advised large Japanese and international corporations on cross-border projects, energy and infrastructure transactions. Whilst working in-house he advised on FPSO bids, drafted and negotiated long-term finance lease and O&M contracts and engineering and construction contracts and provided day to day advice on operational projects and issues arising out of active projects.
Mark’s main area of expertise is in energy and natural resources including project structuring and restructuring, M&A transactions, joint venture / shareholder arrangements, financings, regulatory issues and litigation in the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
Mark was admitted to practice in England and Wales in 1998.
