At the Japan Law Awards 2008 sponsored by ALB (Asian Legal Business), the transaction in which we acted as counsel to Citigroup on a share exchange agreement between Nikko Cordial and Citigroup was awarded "M&A Deal of the Year" and "Japan Deal of the Year," and the transaction in which we acted as counsel for Mizuho Corporate Bank as fiscal agent for General Electric Capital Corporation's exchangeable Samurai bond issue won "Debt Market Deal of the Year."  In addition, our Restructuring/Insolvency practice won "Insolvency Law Firm of the Year."
