With respect to the JPO's dismissal of a request for trial against examiner's decision of refusal for a patent application, Mitsuru Shishido and Hiroshi Suga represented the patent applicants and took an action against the JPO's dismissal decision by alleging that there were reasons for rescinding the dismissal decision (JPO's negligence in not noticing that the two patent applicants had requested the trial and/or JPO's failure to order the applicants to make a correction). On November 19, 2009, the IP High Court sustained our contentions and rescinded the JPO decision.
